For the cashew milk you need:
- 1 cup of cashew @delalba
- 3 cups of water
- Sweetener to taste (can be vanilla, sugar or honey)
In a cup, soak the cashews for 2 to 4 hours. Rinse the cashews well with clean water. Transfer the cashews to a blender, add the 3 cups of water and sweetener if desired.
Beat on high until creamy, about a minute. If you find the milk too creamy, you can add up to one more cup of water.
Cashew milk is an excellent source of magnesium, calcium, iron, zinc and vitamins E and B.
