Recipe to prepare almond milk - Vegetable drink

Making almond milk at home is very easy!

To prepare your own milk you need:

  • 1 cup of raw almonds @delalba
  • 3 cups of water
  • Sweetener to taste (can be vanilla, sugar or honey)

In a cup, soak the almonds for 5 hours to overnight. The next day, rinse the almonds well with clean, cold water.

Transfer the almonds to a blender, add the 3 cups of water and the sweetener.

Beat it well, approximately 10 minutes.

Strain the milk with a very fine mesh or cloth strainer so that your milk is free of residue. Once strained it is ready to drink. Remember that you can use almond paste to make sauces.

Almond milk is high in Protein, Magnesium and Vitamin E, making it very good for bones.
